I love your cake toppers, how does it work?
Why thank you! Every cake topper is created from scratch so the first step is for you to get in touch to let us know what you’re looking for.
We can’t wait to find out all about your big day and cake topper requirements. We’ll ask you to send us photos so I can make a moodboard to reference when I'm hand-sculpting your topper.
At this stage I also ask for full payment, once received work on your creation will start.
When your design has been created, you will receive photographs so you can see how it’s looking. Or if you’re local to Glasgow you can visit the studio and see it in person.
At this stage feedback is welcome, it’s your topper so you can make changes. You might even want to add sparkle or more detail.
After sign off from you, I go ahead and fire the topper. This sets the clay and makes your topper last a lifetime!
It’s then shipped to you, first class, recorded delivery.
I have a very specific idea of what I want.
Can you accommodate my ideas?
Certainly. We are very happy to work to whatever specification you have in mind. Please note: prices may vary for more detailed work. Contact me for more details.
How far in advance to I need to place my order?
You will need to submit your order approximately 8 weeks in advance but the more time we have to work on your topper, the better. If you have a rush order, I may be able to take it depending on our schedule.
What happens I place my order?
I will contact you to discuss your individual requirements.
What will you need from me?
You will need to supply:
A photograph of you and your fiance, and anyone else you would like to be featured, i.e. children, bridesmaids, etc.
Photographs of what you both intend to wear on your wedding day, including the bride's hairstyle and any accessories you plan on wearing, depending on the level of detail you would like.
A photo of the flowers, if a bouquet is to be included.
Full payment through bank transfer or Paypal.
What happens when you’re finished making the topper?
You will receive a photograph of the topper to make sure that you are totally happy with the result before it is fired. Then the topper is shipped.
How will I receive my topper?
You will receive it by first class recorded delivery.
Do you make toppers for other celebrations besides weddings?
I certainly do! Birthdays, Christenings, Bar Mitzvah's, retirements, anniversaries, I can make a topper for any celebration. Please contact me for details and prices.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes! I am happy to ship worldwide. The cost of delivery will vary if you are located outside of the UK. Contact us for prices.
Can I pay using PayPal?
Yes, however, to cover PayPal charges an additional 3.4% will be added to the price of your topper.
Can I visit you at the studio?
Of course, come by and have a chat and a cup of tea! If you are in the Glasgow area or are willing to travel, I welcome clients to visit the studio to discuss ideas in person. Contact for further details.
